Inoculated truffle tree seedlings
Truffles are among the world’s preeminent culinary delicacies, admired for millennia and only their price has kept pace with their fame.
The 18th-century French gastronome Brillat-Savarin called truffles "the diamond of the kitchen".
A truffle is a fruiting body of an underground mushroom. Almost all truffles are ectomycorrhizal and are therefore usually found in close association with trees.
The famous culinary truffles are now cultivated around the world.
Our company ‘TruffleTree’ produces the inoculated truffle tree seedlings that will allow you to grow these grand culinary delicacies on your land.
All our truffles tree seedlings are unique, they are inoculated with the following four species:
- Tuber aestivum, (Summer truffle)
- Tuber magnatum, (White truffle)
- Tuber uncinatum (Burgundy truffle)
- Tuber melanosporum. (Black truffle)
Not like many other crops, truffles can be grown profitably on small acreages or on your existing orchards (eg grapevine).
Mycorrhiza and mycorrhizal services is, beyond any doubt, one of the best Nature's ideas to improve vegetation and vivacity of plants.
Mycorrhizal plants are more vivacious and competitive in conquering their ecosystems than plants without mycorrhiza. Better survivability and robustness of plants is also supported by several other functions of mycorrhiza: passive and active protection of root system against soil diseases modifications of biotic environment in the root system aggregating soil particles - which also fertilizes the soil.
Mycorrhizal service is the most natural and environment-friendly way to increase growth and vivacity of plants.
We provide mycorrhizal services for orchards and truffle farming throughout Europe, but welcome contact from existing truffle farmers, scientists and culinarians in other parts of the world.
